Celebrate Day of Climate 2025
On Wed April 16th, 2025, at the MIT Museum, the Day of Climate team celebrated the innovative climate work of the MIT community and passionate learners and educators who are leading the effort in their schools and communities.
Our speakers, advocates of climate education, thoughtful educators and youth, and the grantees who designed the Day of Climate curriculum activities, inspired youth, educators, and families. The keynote speaker, Jaylen Brown, NBA Champion and Finals MVP for the Boston Celtics and MIT Media Lab Director’s fellow, spoke about the urgent need for climate education.

Day of Climate offers free, hands-on curriculum of lessons and activities designed to introduce K-12 students to research on climate and how it shapes their lives. These resources are being developed by MIT community (including faculty, researchers, students, and staff), and designed for formal and informal learning environments.
These resources are Creative Commons-licensed, and designed for learners of all backgrounds and abilities.
