Apply for a Day of Climate Grant
Develop hands-on, interactive curriculum activities for learners around the world!
We invite members of the MIT community (faculty, students, staff, and affiliates) to propose ideas for interactive, hands-on learning activities inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Climate Action Goals.
These grants provide funding to develop curriculum activities that will be used widely—
- by elementary, middle school, and high school learners, and during teacher professional development, and/or
- adapted to be used in different educational settings around the world.
These curriculum activities may also be used during in-person summer programs at MIT for middle and high school learners and as part of educational projects around the world.
Who Can Apply: MIT faculty, students, staff, and affiliates
Grant Amount: This year, grants will range from $10,000 to $25,000
Deadline: September 15, 2024 by 5:00 pm ET
Timeline:
- September 15: Submission Deadline
- Early October: Grant Awardees Announced
- November/December: Playtesting of Curriculum Activities
- Late December: Finalized Curriculum Activities Due
